The CPIA Pescara-Chieti, based on the needs of the adult population of the territory, organizes free courses for citizens aged between 16 and 64 years (15 years for the middle school diploma), in particular:
Literacy and learning of the Italian language for foreign citizens aimed at obtaining a title attesting the achievement of a level of knowledge of the Italian language not lower than A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, drawn up by the Council of Europe. The certificate of knowledge of the Italian language level A2, issued by the CPIA, is useful for the granting of the EC residence permit, for long-term residents (DM 4/6/2010 art. 2 c.1). Furthermore, the CPIA Pescara-Chieti, as a CELI exam center (Linguistic Certification of the University for Foreigners of Perugia), organizes exam sessions for the achievement of the CELI B1 certification required for the granting of Italian citizenship.
